Working around an operating building
Commercial work is mostly a sequencing problem. Areas are staged so you never lose more of the building than you agreed to, and the schedule is built around your hours rather than ours, which usually means evenings, weekends or a phased floor-by-floor plan.
A project manager is on site while work is happening, so questions get answered where the work is instead of through a voicemail box. You get one point of contact from the bid through to the closeout walk.
