DGR Painting Contractors is a family-owned and operated business located in Omaha, Nebraska. The company was originally founded in 1958 and was later purchased in 1996 by Dan and Janel Reeder, who spent nearly three decades building one of Omaha's most trusted painting contractors through an unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship.
In 2024, DGR was acquired by brothers Travis and Tyler Anderson, born and raised in Seward, Nebraska. Their father owns a family business building custom homes throughout Seward County, and it was growing up in that environment that gave Travis and Tyler their foundation in the construction and design industry.
Today, DGR's professional team of accomplished painters and wallpaper hangers continues that same tradition: superior quality work, on time, within budget, and personally managed from start to finish.

Travis Anderson
Travis is one of the partners behind DGR Painting Contractors. Rather than running daily operations, he focuses on the big picture — long-term growth, financial strength, and building a team worth trusting. He stays accessible as a sounding board for the people on the ground, whether that means working through a tough problem or backing a bold new idea.
Tyler Anderson
Tyler is one of the partners behind DGR Painting Contractors. He works directly alongside leadership to drive strategic expansion, operational efficiency, and high-level client relations. Raised in a family of custom home builders, he brings a deep, hands-on understanding of the trade to ensure DGR continuously scales while honoring its legacy of quality craftsmanship and integrity.
Jim Ball
Jim leads the business from first contact to final closeout — managing sales, contracts, scheduling, billings, and the people who make it all happen. He's the central hub between the field, the client, and the office.
Michael Mackey
Michael turns scopes of work into winning numbers. He drives the entire estimate process — from bid lead generation through proposal delivery — and negotiates directly with paint vendors to keep our pricing sharp.
Rick Mackey
Rick owns the field. He keeps crews staffed, materials moving, and every project on schedule and on budget. His hands-on QC approach and real-world feedback loop to estimating means nothing slips through the cracks.
Chelsey Seymour
Chelsey keeps the people side of DGR running smoothly — from onboarding new hires through payroll, benefits administration, and annual insurance renewals. She partners with Jim on billings and change orders, and ensures the company stays sharp on compliance and corporate governance.
Alice Burns
Alice manages the financial backbone of DGR — accounts payable, taxes, bookkeeping, and vendor records. She works closely with ownership on cash management and financial forecasting, and maintains detailed job costing records that keep every project financially accountable.
