Architectural coatings are the backbone of almost every DGR project: the interior and exterior paints that go on walls, ceilings, trim and siding. The difference between a premium line and a builder-grade one shows up in hide, scrub resistance and how the color holds after a few Nebraska summers.
We specify the line to the job rather than to the invoice: a high-traffic corridor, a north-facing exterior and a guest bedroom all want different products, and we'll tell you which is which.

What separates a premium line from a builder-grade one
The visible difference is hide. A premium coating covers in two coats where a cheaper one needs three and still shadows over patches, so the saving on the tin disappears into labor and an extra day on site.
The difference you notice later is wear. Scrub resistance decides whether a hallway still looks clean after a year of bags and shoulders, and pigment quality decides whether a south-facing room holds its color or drifts.

Final Walkthrough
We walk every room with you before we pull the drop cloths. You approve it, we clean up, you get your space back.

If a drawing or submittal package already names the system, send it with your enquiry and we will price against it directly rather than substituting something close. Where nothing is specified, the estimate will say what we intend to use and why that choice suits the surface.
Either way the preparation is written into the scope alongside the product, because the two are not separable. A coating only performs to its data sheet if the surface underneath it was prepared the way that sheet requires.
