What faux & decorative finishes covers
Decorative finishes are a different craft from painting. Roman Clay and Venetian plaster are troweled in layers and burnished; lime wash lives or dies on how it's laid off; a mural is drawing, not coating.
These are specialist applications, and carrying them inside our own scope means a single point of accountability when a feature wall is the centerpiece of the room.

A different craft from painting
Roman Clay, Venetian plaster and lime wash are mineral finishes rather than coatings. They are troweled on in layers, worked while they are open, and burnished or laid off by hand, so the result carries the movement of the application itself.
Because they vary so much with light and substrate, we board a sample and put it in the actual room before committing a wall. What reads warm in a showroom can read gray on a north-facing elevation.

Prep & Priming
Furniture and floors protected, drywall patched, caulk and rot repaired, primer applied. This is where the finish is decided.
Painting
The finish goes on sprayed, rolled or brushed, to whatever the surface actually calls for rather than to whatever is quickest.
Final Walkthrough
We walk every room with you before we pull the drop cloths. You approve it, we clean up, you get your space back.
