The tool decides the finish as much as the product does. An airless rig, a fine-finish tip, an HVLP gun and a trowel each leave a different surface, and using the wrong one is how a good material ends up looking cheap.
Our crews carry and maintain the equipment each system actually calls for, which is a large part of why the cabinet work looks sprayed and the plaster looks troweled.

The tool decides the finish as much as the product
An airless rig, a fine-finish tip, an HVLP gun and a trowel each leave a different surface. Using the wrong one is how a genuinely good material ends up looking cheap, and it is the most common reason a finish disappoints without anybody being able to say why.
Equipment also has to be maintained rather than hired on the morning. A worn tip atomises unevenly and lays down a texture no amount of product quality will rescue.

If a drawing or submittal package already names the system, send it with your enquiry and we will price against it directly rather than substituting something close. Where nothing is specified, the estimate will say what we intend to use and why that choice suits the surface.
Either way the preparation is written into the scope alongside the product, because the two are not separable. A coating only performs to its data sheet if the surface underneath it was prepared the way that sheet requires.
